The Western Cape Photographic Forum invites all members of any Western Cape camera club and scholars or students, to participate in their photographic competition.
The forum invites all school clubs to enter as well.
The purpose of the competition is to create an opportunity for junior photographers to compete in the regional competition with their peers and for scholars to complete an external competition in the Western Cape.
The categories for this competition are:Category A – Club Juniors only – Open – ColourCategory B – Club Juniors only – Open – MonochromeCategory C – Scholars only – Mobile Phone (Open – Colour or Monochrome)Category D – Scholars only – Digital Camera (Open – Colour or Monochrome) The awards for this competition will be: PSSA Bronze Medal for the winner in each category.
Western Cape Photographic Forum Bronze Medal for the runner-up winner in each category
Certificate(s) of Merit may be awarded by the judges.
The winning entries will be printed and exhibited at the annual Western Cape Interclub Photographic Competition at Sanlam in Bellville and included in the Photobook of WCIPC 2019.
The closing date is 27 July and judging will take place within 21 days of the closing date.
Winners will receive results by 24 August via email.
The winning entries will be exhibited in October.
