Three La Rochelle Girls’ Primary School equestrians represented their district recently at the SANESA Western Cape inter-district finals.
Rebecca McCarthy (Grade 6) came in first in the following categories: dressage test 2, handy hunter and in hand utility. She also claimed three second-place spots for prix caprilli, dressage test 1 and working riding.
Danielle Potgieter (Grade 7) finished in second and fifth place in the show jumping 70 cm category. Emelda Kirsten (Grade 6) also showed off her talent in the dressage novice category and ended in sixth and seventh place.
