Young Gardens Rugby Club’s Back II Our Roots is back! But this time they are bringing you The DJ Edition.

The best deejays in the Western Cape will be wrecking the decks, and it is all happening on Thursday 21 March – Human Rights Day – at Paulus Joubert Primary School in Paarl. The first deejay will start his set at 14:00 and the music will be pumping until 23:00.

Gardens have really pulled out all the stops to bring some of the hottest deejays to Paarl.

DJ Ice Flake is currently riding the crest of the wave. He describes himself as a deejay, promotor and entrepreneur. His star shines brightly at the moment and his popularity is sky-high. Everybody wants a piece of him! So expect this talented DJ’s set to be one of the highlights on our programme.

Masoodah from Cape Town is the only female DJ in the line-up. Not just a pretty face, she is super-talented and hardworking. That is why Masoodah has 245,7 K followers on TikTok and 64,2 K on Instagram. And it’s why she was rewarded with a spot on DITH on Good Hope FM. She knows all the tricks of the trade and will definitely get patrons grooving & moving.

DJ Rollstoel, who is master of his craft, recently delivered a memorable set when he opened the Robin Pieters show at the GrandWest Arena. He is amped to blow your socks off with some irresistible beats at Back II Our Roots!

Chello the Remix King is sure to take your entertainment to the next level. He is known for remixing hits of artists such as Brandy, Mariah Carey, Brian McKnight, The Rockets and many more. Definitely a class act.

The other deejays who will bring it hard and hot are Paarl’s very own threesome of Avon, Turbo and Ghiaan, DJ Ermy, DJ Coolio and Randy SA.

Ticket prices: General R120, VIP R250, and cooler-box charge is R50 (payable at the gate).
