The local Cansa branch in Paarl will host a women’s health day next week.
The health day takes place with the hope of shedding more light on breast cancer awareness month during October.
The event will take place next Wednesday (23 October) at the Drakenstein Library in Paarl East from 10:00 to 15:00. Free cancer screenings will be conducted, such as clinical breast examination (CBE) and pap smear en CBE combo. There will also be a Pink Spray-a-thon and everyone is encouraged to wear something pink and tekkies.
