Entries are open for Story Stars, an animated short film created by using stories that were written and narrated by Grade 4 learners of the Western Cape.
The film details the first adventures of characters Felix and Felicity.
Learners should watch the animation online at wcedonline.westerncape.gov.za, and then complete the story by writing themselves into the ending of the adventure.
The three best stories will be chosen, and first, second and third prizes will be awarded. The winning learner’s story will be animated, and it will become part of the Story Stars short film you watched at the beginning of this process.
The winner will be inserted into the story (animation) and do the voice over.
The Grade 4 teacher/mentor and school of the overall winner will also receive a prize. Prizes to the value of R50 000 will be awarded.
