On Sunday morning, 12 November, I was cycling through the Arboretum and found a person pushing a heavily over-loaded trolley full of freshly sawn tree logs.
Is there no law enforcement in the Arboretum anymore?
If this practice goes on uncontrollably what will happen to the indigenous and other planted trees that have been growing there for years? It is highly unlikely many people doing the job have the ability to discern between alien and indigenous trees.
I believe this activity should be stopped forthwith.
