Two learners of Wellington High School travelled overseas to Germany and Belgium during the winter holidays to show off their cycling talent. Chanton Perrins, a Grade 11 learner, participated for his club, EGK All 4 Security, in a three-day International Belgium Youth Cycling Tour (IBYC). A total of 26 countries took part in this tour. Cayeigh Carlse, also in Grade 11, represented the school at an educational youth camp in Gernrode, Germany. She was among 11 high school learners from the Drakenstein area. This opportunity was made possible by the Cape Winelands District Municipality.
