Titans MMA (mixed martial arts) in Paarl is proud to announce that Jelais Kitoubou, one of the brightest stars in the world of mixed martial arts, has captured the prestigious PFC MMA Featherweight Title. Training at Titans MMA, which forms part of the CWKA (Cape Winelands Kickboxing Association), he has made history with this victory, marking a monumental achievement in his career and a proud moment for the Cape Winelands.

The Nigerian-born fighter, who was raised in the heart of Paarl, has long been a name to watch in the martial-arts community. His journey from a K1 kickboxing background to mixed martial arts has been nothing short of extraordinary.

This victory is a dream come true for Kitoubou, who has dedicated years of hard work, sacrifice and determination to transition into the world of MMA. His success is a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence and the support of his team at Titans MMA.

“We couldn’t be prouder of Jelais and his incredible achievement,” said Riaan Pietersen, head coach and owner of Titans MMA. “His dedication and commitment to his craft has been inspiring, and this victory is just the beginning of what we believe will be a long and successful career in MMA.”

In addition to Kitoubou’s success, Titans MMA is also excited to announce the transition of another talented athlete, Andrew Hunter, into the world of mixed martial arts.

A Zimbabwean-born fighter who has made Paarl his home, he is the head boxing coach at Titans MMA with an impressive record as a K1 kickboxing competitor.

With years of martial arts experience under his belt, Hunter is now set to make his mark in the MMA world as he trains to become the next Cape Winelands MMA champion in his division.

“Andrew has been a cornerstone of our team here at Titans MMA,” said a spokesperson for Titans MMA. “His expertise in boxing and kickboxing, combined with his dedication to his training, makes him a formidable competitor. We are excited to see him take on this new challenge in MMA and continue the legacy of excellence that Titans MMA is known for.”

Kitoubou’s victory and Hunter’s transition into MMA underscore the thriving martial-arts community in the Cape Winelands and the commitment of Titans MMA to nurturing and developing world-class talent.
