As temperatures soared late last week and into this week so did the unfortunate cases of wildfires. Since last Saturday the Cape WInelands District Municipality, together with other fire fighting entities, battled no less than 75 fires over a period of a week in, among others, Bains Kloof, Du Toits Kloof, Wemmershoek and surrounds.
