A week in Mauritius is what many people dream of. This is one of the lots that will come under the hammer at Paarl Rotary’s annual Wine and Good Taste Charity Auction at Laborie wine estate on 3 November. There you can bid for air tickets and a stay at the exclusive Lux Grand Gaube resort, including airport transfer.
But don’t forget the auction also boasts a large collection of premium wines for the discerning buyer, auctioned by well-known TV personality Dan Nicholl.
Along with collector’s items, many interesting hospitality items will be auctioned, such as the services of a chef, who will prepare a meal of your choice for your friends and family, with wine pairing.
Also up for auction are game drives and accommodation at luxurious boutique hotels. There will also be a silent auction of art.
All proceeds go to charities, including educare centres supported by Paarl Rotary.
