I battle to believe that there is any truth in allegations of racism at Paarl Boys’ High during their sports matches against Rondebosch recently.
I had two sons at Boys’, and among the learners saw true brotherhood, whether it was black, white, Christian or Muslim.
Even now that my kids have left school I still attend rugby matches especially at Brug Street. And here it is evident what a multi-racial boys’ school, with many cross-race friendships.
