The much-anticipated Capitec Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival is set to return to the Franschhoek Wine Valley on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December.
Held at the picturesque Huguenot Monument, this annual event, sponsored by Capitec, invites bubbly enthusiasts from across South Africa to indulge in fine Cap Classiques, gourmet food, and lively entertainment.
This year’s festival theme, “Elegantly Floral,” will bring a vibrant garden-party atmosphere, encouraging those attending to dress-up for a chance to win the Best Dressed Competition. The event will feature live performances by popular acts like Majozi and the Absolutely Fabulous Duo, alongside gourmet fare from local Franschhoek restaurants and artisanal food stalls.
Capitec’s Asha Patel expressed excitement about the festival, emphasising its role in celebrating the year’s achievements and supporting local entrepreneurs.
Tickets, which include a complimentary champagne flute and 10 tasting tokens, are R450 for Saturday and R400 for Sunday, available via Webtickets. Note that only guests aged 18 and older are allowed, as per South African law.
