Home owners in the area of Thom Street, would like to thank the Drakenstein Municipality for their great and efficient service on Sunday.
There was an underground water pipe that had burst. Water was flowing in rivers down the road, but shortly after this was reported to the municipality’s hotline workers were there to turn off the water supply and quickly set to work repairing the fault.
We so often hear about what things look like in the northern part of the country, where there is today just about no service delivery or, in some instances, infrastructure left in many municipalities. But here in Drakenstein we can be very lucky to have such an efficient municipality.
Sunday was just one example of great service delivery.
