After a three year break, the Boland Summer Festival is back, in the form of the Spice Mecca Boland Summer Festival from 29 September until 1 October. This year celebrates the festival’s 21st anniversary and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
Boland Summer Festival joined forces with Spice Mecca for this year’s event as main sponsor.
A highlight of the festival will be the Spice Mecca Pavilion, which will be offering a feast of food demonstrations and product displays. Prepare to indulge in exotic dishes and take advantage of special product offers.
The Daljosaphat Stadium in Paarl has proved to be the ideal venue to host the 25 000 plus festival-goers. It’s spacious, stunning views of the mountains and completely enclosed – your safety is a priority!
Our lineup of artists will add to the atmosphere and keep you entertained all weekend. For only R35 (adults) and R15 (pensioners/children under 12), you will have live performances from the likes of Mujahid George, Nur Abrahams, Ashley Pienaar, Ekraam Cupido and local home-grown Paarl favourite the SoulSound Group plus many more!
There will be over 160 stalls and exhibitions . . . clothing, scarfs, toys, kitchenware, bedding, spices and investments, to name a few. Majority of them are small start-ups, so no need to feel guilty with buyers remorse.
Both kids and adults will be amused and enjoy thrilling fun-filled rides at the Fun Fair – if that’s not adventurous enough, why not take your chances on the Rodeo Bull.
