I would like to herewith share my shocking experience with the cellular network giant MTN.

Last year I started receiving threats from them about an unpaid account. I was flabbergasted as I had ended all my MTN accounts in about 2012.

But it didn’t help to explain this to them and so I decided to pay the outstanding amount and end all ties once and for all with MTN.

This I did at their outlet in Wamakers Plein centre in Paarl.

It was also not as easy as said, seeing that the gentleman who helped me had to call a central MTN hotline to acknowledge my payment and cancel the account.

This took a very long time.

An hour or so later I walked out and considered this unpleasant experience with MTN done and dusted.

But no. Months later I receive a call from a call-centre notifying me that I have been black-listed due to an unpaid MTN-account. I again sent off the proof and payment, but to date I cannot get hold of a single person at MTN or the legal company to confirm receipt thereof.
