The annual Drakenstein Festival of Lights takes place this weekend (Saturday 25 November).
You have to make your way to Church Street in Wellington before 16:00 though, as roads will be closed thereafter. The festival officially starts at 19:00.
Lights will be switched on at 20:10 by mayor Conrad Poole.
Artists such as Comos Dios, Elaine & Felicia, Keenan Martin, Duelin Wood, Noted, Dark Shadows and many more will deliver special performances during the festivities. You can also expect to see familiar faces like Maurice Paige, BassMint and ColdSweat, to name a few, to keep you entertained.
No alcohol will be allowed at the festival. Children can enjoy themselves on the rides and various stalls will be available with goods to purchase.
There is no entrance fee, so go enjoy yourself with the rest of Drakenstein while observing the mesmerising lights in the night sky.
