These learners of Ebenezer Primary School obtained outstanding results at the first round of the Cape Winelands Primary Schools Chess trials held at Wellington High School recently. From left is Lee-Roy Januarie (age 11, 8th in the u-11 boys category), Kayden Booysen (age 12, 10th in the u-13 girls category) and Micah Clayton (age 12, 7th in the u-13 girls category). They have all made it to the next round of the trials.
