It is your right to run to the ballot stations on Wednesday, but let’s warm-up on the trails on Tuesday evening! A 10 km and 6 km route will be marked, and it will start at 18:00 – headlamps are compulsory. Special event medals for the first pre-entries and Dirtopia medals for the rest.
Mountain bikers can ride with trail designer Meurant Botha on Wednesday morning 08:30. These popular Buffalor Rides are only R100 per rider and includes a beer, a boerewors roll and guided social ride.
Riders must be able to ride single track and no novices or kids are allowed, as it is a proper mountain bike ride.
You will enjoy more than 25 km of trails on Muratie and the guides will show off some trails not normally open to the public.
Make sure you enter at www.dirtpass.co.za as a limited number of trail users will be allowed.
The Night Run on Tuesday is supported by Sportsman’s Warehouse with vouchers to be won plus Muratie Wine in the lucky draws. Special-event medals to the first runners that enter and refreshment stations on route and at the finish line.
