The Department of Home Affairs would like to advise the public on their services regarding the registration of the birth of children.
A child must be registered within 30 days of birth. Birth registration can be done at the nearest Home Affairs Office or at Paarl Hospital weekly from 08:00 to 15:00.
The following information is required:
Marriage certificate
Proof of birth
Parents’ IDs
