While attending to an accident on Sunday evening, Paarl police came across a gruesome discovery.
The police members were busy regulating the traffic where a truck had jack-knifed on the R44 near Windmeul, when they discovered body parts lying scattered next to the road, a short distance from the scene.
Paarl police spokesperson Capt Louise du Plessis said that the remains are not linked to the accident.
