Paarl Hockey Club seems to be heading towards the end of the 2024 season in a very good position, despite Paarl Men’s first team draw against Fish Hoek this past weekend.

They are however still in first position but will have to win their last two games to make sure they stay ahead of UWC.

On Saturday 31 August, the end score was 4-4 between Paarl men’s first team and Fish Hoek with Paarl goals by LD Nel (2), Jannie van den Heever and Matt Smith each shooting one goal.

Men’s 2nd lost to Fish Hoek 2nd 1-2, Leonard de Nysschen scoring Paarls’ goal.

Ladies 2nd lost against Fish Hoek 2nd 1-2, with Paarl’s goal by Christelle Conradie.

Paarl Rocks Mixed Over 35 lost to Milnerton 2-3. Paarls’ Monique Taylor scored both goals.
