Paarl Hockey Club men’s 1st team defeated Van der Stel in Stellenbosch convincingly this past weekend.
Paarl men scored a whopping five goals and conceded only one to the Stellenbosch boys’. Paarl’s Carlon Mentoor scored three goals, and Louw Pienaar and Jannie van Heever each scored one.
Paarl ladies 2nd team beat Conberg 5th 3-1, with Paarl goals coming off the stick of Daniella van Antwerp, who scored all three.
This coming weekend’s fixtures are:
Tuesday 6 August – Men 1st plays Durbanville 1st on Paarl Boys astro at 19:30
