The notorious International Hotel next to Paarl Station in Southern Paarl has eventually been demolished to make way for a brand-new business venture in Paarl. This once well-known hotel had become through the years a den of iniquity, ridden with drugs, prostitution and other crimes. Last year it was sold off on auction after the Austrian owner died. Details of the development will soon be made public.
