Jade Atkins, a Grade 11 learner at La Rochelle Girls’ High, was selected for the SA u-18 netball team that will represent South Africa at the Commonwealth Youth Games, which take place in Trinidad and Tobago from 4 to 11 August. Netball South Africa will take part in the Fast5 Netball competition during the games. Jade was also selected as the best overall u-17 player of the Telkom netball championship, which took place this past holiday. She was also included in the u-17 SA and u-21 netball teams.
