Each year Global Spotlight Talent Search honours Drakenstein’s legends and an honorary artist. This is to inform, educate and inspire the next generation of artists, so they are aware great people had walked their path before. It also gives recognition to people who have been a part of the arts and cultural landscape of the Boland for decades. The honorary recipients this year are opera singer Lynelle Kenned (left) and Bernie Hermanus, the recipient of the Legendary Award (right). With them is Sydwell Beziek, Co-Managing Director of Global Spotlight and Blue Ribbon Award winner at the International Difference Makers Organisation South Africa.Photo: Earl September
