Ame van Zyl, who is a Grade R learner on Huguenot Primary School’s Doemsie Campus, competed at the South African National Equestrian Schools Association in Stellenbosch. She rode very well and was placed first in all her classes. She won first place rosette for Proficiency Riding Test 1 and first place rosette for Proficiency Riding Test 2 and first place rosette for primary schools. She also won a first place for Equitation and first place rosette for Working Riding Test and also received first place rosette for Performance Riding.
