The Klapmuts Catholic church, located behind the BP fuel station next to the railway line is getting a new lease on life, thanks to two good Samaritans from Paarl. They are restoring the church for free and beautifying the old derelict building for parishioners. Preferring to remain anonymous, the two replied that their reason for doing this was to “praise and thank God.” According to the Koelenhof parish, which manages the Klapmuts church, it was still being renovated and is not yet open to the public. It is also not certainty about when it would be open.Photo: Supplied
