Bergrivier High School in Wellington celebrated its 70th anniversary, which coincided with the official launch of its Bergrivier Alumni group, on Friday 8 November. Community members, ex-principals and ex-students came from as far as Sweden, Namibia, Johannesburg and Cape Town to attend. This auspicious occasion was celebrated at Kronenburg Estate, and guests were entertained by the very best artists. Actor Zane Meas made a special appearance at the event.
