Tylan Gertze, who is in Grade 2 at Van Wyksvlei Primary School, received cum laude at the Paarl Eisteddfod. He recited an English poem. The judges remarks of Tylan’s recitation included this remark: “You presented the poem very energetically with good usage of your voice!”
