Last Wednesday (14 June) Grande Roche Hotel and Restaurant launched Grande Afternoon Tea by Chef Kevin Grobler. The long-standing tradition of high tea was introduced to English high society by Anna Maria Russell, seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the year 1840. Grobler now continues this tradition, giving it a firm contemporary whisk with a generous dollop of good old-fashioned South African hospitality.
