A Golden Arrow bus was broken into and a camera stolen in the early hours of Tuesday morning while it was parked near the Wellington Library in Jan van Riebeeck Drive. Golden Arrow’s Public Relations Manager, Bronwen Dyke-Beyer, said this was the first incident since the service was launched two years ago. “The internal camera was removed and nothing else was reported stolen. We currently have an agreement with Wellington police [to guard the bus] but we are looking for an alternative parking area.”
