Summer’s as good as here, and what better way to celebrate than to attend this year’s Bubbly and Gin Festival at the Plaisir Wine Estate in Franschhoek.
The weekend of 11 and 12 November are the dates you want to save for this social-calendar highlight.
Setting the tone will be the live entertainment by Shenfm, as you sip on glasses of bubbly and gin cocktails throughout the day.
Dress in your finest green-and-white attire as the Best-dressed lady and gent will be awarded a fabulous prize on the day.
Word of advice to the ladies who like to glam it up, your heels won’t like this grass, so dust off those fabulous wedges and designer sneakers to add to your outfit.
Apart from a wide selection of participating wine cellars and distillers who will be taking part, delectable food stands and an awesome fun party atmosphere add the final touches to what promises to be this summer’s highlight.
Tickets, which can be booked directly via Webtickets, cost R295 per person and include a complimentary tasting glass, one cocktail coupon, and three bubbly tasting coupons.
