The Paarl Valley Eisteddfod held a Prestige Gala Awards and eight of Paarl Girls’ High learners received awards. In front (from left) are Lara du Preez (best junior percussion), Lienke Dreyer, (highest total mark for junior piano, and most promising junior female piano player) and Luka Schaefer (most promising junior flute). Behind (from left) are Claudia Miglietta (best saxophone), Zani Venter (best recitation in Grade 9), Sian Bosch (best saxophone) and Meeka Stott (best ballet improvisation). At the back: Caitlynn Steenkamp (best senior flute).
