Fairview Wine and Cheese presents Fairview Gives Back, a special Charity Dinner and Wine Auction dedicated to supporting Drakenstein Palliative Hospice and Ladles of Love.
Taking place on Friday 6 June at 18:00 at the Goatshed Restaurant at Fairview, this evening of fine food, exceptional wines, and generosity aims to make a meaningful impact in the community. Wine lovers, foodies, and big hearts are invited to join this unforgettable evening to ‘wine, dine, and do good’.
This special event features a four-course feast expertly crafted by the Goatshed’s very own Chef SJ Nel, paired with Fairview’s finest wines, and hosted by none other than Nik Rabinowitz, one of South Africa’s most celebrated comedians, who will be bringing his signature humour to the evening.
The evening will also include a charity wine auction of an exclusive selection of sought-after, rare, limited-edition Fairview wines. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on these remarkable bottles, with all proceeds going directly to two outstanding organisations:
Drakenstein Palliative Hospice has been providing compassionate and professional palliative care to individuals facing life-threatening illnesses since 1991. Their work extends to both patients and their families, offering support, dignity, and comfort in challenging times.
One of South Africa’s most celebrated comedians Nik Rabinowitz will be entertaining guests at Fairview’s charity dinner and wine auction.
Ladles of Love is a Cape Town-based non-profit organisation dedicated to fighting hunger and uplifting communities. Originally founded in 2014 to feed the homeless, it has since expanded to provide thousands of nutritious meals daily, particularly to vulnerable children and Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres. Through their network of volunteers and sustainable initiatives, Ladles of Love is making a tangible difference in addressing food insecurity in South Africa.
Tickets for this exclusive event are priced at R1 000 per person, which includes the full dining experience with selected wines. All proceeds will go directly to Drakenstein Palliative Hospice and Ladles of Love.
