If you have dreamt of a career in hospitality, then The Private Hotel School’s My Global Career competition is just the thing for you to realise that dream.
The exciting competition seeks two of the country’s best “hospitalians”, the grand prize being a year-long bursary for each to study for a certificate in hospitality management at the school’s Stellenbosch or Johannesburg campus.
Entering the competition is simple: . Upload a photo of yourself in front of a tourist site, hotel, resort or landmark where you would love to work one day on Instagram using #MyGlobalCareer and tagging @privatehotelschool. It can be a real photo of the actual experience or you can edit yourself into the environment. If these two options are not possible, you can submit a photo of the hotel or site on its own. . Along with the photo, upload with a paragraph of not more than 30 words on why you would like to work in hospitality, or why you want to study at The Private Hotel School.
Ten finalists will be invited to either the Stellenbosch or Johannesburg campus for a lucky draw, with one finalist per campus winning the bursary for 2021.
In addition, all 10 finalists will win a hospitality experience, which may be a high tea, dinner for four, weekend getaway or a mid-week break to a resort.
The competition closes on 10 December with the lucky draw on 30 January. Winners of the bursaries will commence their studies in March 2021.
