There is no better way to celebrate South Africa’s coinciding Tourism Month and Heritage Month than by immersing oneself in nature for free.

Between 20 and 27 September (Access Week 2022), CapeNature will open its doors for an entire week to everyone free of charge.

Whether you reside in the breathtaking Winelands or near the rumbling shores of the West Coast – CapeNature has the perfect collection of nature reserves to start your spring on a high note.

If residents want to stay close to home, the Limietberg Nature Reserve is right under their nose. This pristine nature reserve is tucked away in the Du Toits Kloof Mountains, near Paarl. The reserve stretches from Franschhoek in the south eastwards towards Groot Drakenstein, and northwards as far as Voëlvlei Dam and is a World Heritage Site.

For those wanting to venture further, visit www.capenature.co.za for the details about all the other wonderful nature reserves to explore. That’s not all: if you visit one of the CapeNature reserves during Access Week 2022, you stand a chance to win a two-night stay at a nature reserve of your choice.
