Franklin Abrahams invites young people to showcase their talents and enter “Drakenstein’s Got Talent”.

Franklin Abrahams, Founder of Inspirational Events, has launched a talent show, Drakenstein’s Got Talent, and is inviting the youth to take part.

Inspirational Events is a platform he created dedicated to helping youth discover their gifts and talents while aiding them in prospering.

The initiative also serves as a fundraising source for the NGO Kingdom Journey, which focuses on healing and restoring youth, particularly those who are at risk and in conflict with the law.

Abrahams personally understands the struggles faced by many youths, as he himself battled depression from childhood experiences, including growing up in a household affected by alcoholism and abuse.

However, with the support of church mentors, he found his way out and now aspires to be a beacon of hope for others.

Drakenstein’s Got Talent is scheduled to hold its semi-finals on 25 May followed by the finals on 8 June.

Contestants between the ages of 9 to 35 are invited to enter and show their talent.

Registrations are open until 30 April, with auditions on 4 May, at the Wellington School of Skills. The audition fee is R50. Tickets for the semi-finals and finals are R100 pp and R50 for children under 12.
