The Western Cape Blood Transfusion service will be hosting a blood donation drive today (Thursday 1 September) at the Paarl town hall in Main Street.
To celebrate Spring, they will be giving away a seedling pod during the month of September to everyone who donates blood.
The Paarl clinic at the town hall will be open from 12:30 to 18:45.
The criteria for blood donations are: Donors must be between 16 and 75 years old; weigh 50 kg or more; be in good health and lead a sexually safe lifestyle.
