Another truck caused chaos this week on Bains Kloof Pass, when the driver ignored the maximum height-limit warning signs and drove up the pass from Wellington. On approaching the pulpit overhang he, however, realised he was not going to make the clearance of the overhanging rock and started reversing down the pass, causing much danger to other motorists. This is an ongoing problem, occurring as it does almost weekly, and residents of Wellington have long been worried about the damage these trucks are causing to this historic pass. Foto:
