The gardens to discover include the cellar gardens of Avondale Wine Estate, the enchanting private gardens of Ginny Grieve, Suzanne Grieve, Ruth Robertson, and Julie Warren-Codrington. You can also explore Avondale’s historic Cape Dutch buildings, marvel at the mature trees, wander through two thriving vegetable gardens that supply the award-winning Faber restaurant, meander along the streams, savour the indigenous beds, rose gardens, and meadow, and observe the resident cows, ducks, and free-ranging chickens in their natural environment.

Conclude your garden adventure with a tasting of Avondale’s organic and biodynamic wines at the Avondale Wine Cellar or indulge in a meal at the highly acclaimed Faber restaurant, recently honoured as the Best Garden Restaurant in Africa by the Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Awards.
