A Citi Golf owner got the fright of his life after he left his car to idle while popping into a café, only to return to an empty parking space. For the owner of the car it felt like a nightmare came true. Paarl police spokesperson Capt Louise du Plessis said the incident happened on Friday morning last week. “A driver of a Citi Golf, who had left his car idling in front of a café in Main Street, Paarl, was left without a vehicle on exiting the café.” Luckily for the owner, Du Plessis said, the vehicle was found later the same day in Wellington.
