On Friday 6 May, Valcare once again hosted an inspiring networking event to connect more than 200 non-profit organisations in the Cape Winelands with one another.
Valcare has a membership network of over 270 non-profit organisations, and on Friday, the Amazing Race participants got a glimpse into what some of these non-profit organisations do daily.
Participants were divided into four teams (yellow, navy, light blue and white) and they visited organisations in Paarl, Wellington, Mbekweni and Paarl East. Each team visited a minimum of four projects. The teams had to jump into taxis (organised by Valcare) that took them to their designated organisations where they were given assignments that they had to complete within a certain timeframe with team spirit and enthusiasm.
The white team came out victorious.
